Pet Policy

Pets who are quiet and cleaned up after are welcome in the campground; they must be leashed at all times. Black Hills Trailside Park has a two pet maximum. The campground has provided three (3) doggie stations with bags for you to pick up after your pets.

Leaving pets unattended in RVs during the day is highly discouraged. Leaving unattended pets leashed outside anywhere in the campground is not allowed.

Those pets who are aggressive or bark excessively will be asked to be removed from the campground immediately. Black Hills Trailside Park Resort reserves discretion to ask pets to be removed who have shown to be dangerous or a nuisance.

There are 2 pet-friendly cabins – Triumph Elm and Blue Wood. At the time of reservation, guests reserving these cabins and bringing pets will be assessed a $100 pet deposit. Guests will also be responsible for a $50 cleaning fee at the time of departure.

A non-refundable fee of $250 will be assessed if there is evidence that a pet stayed in any other cabin.

If you have any concerns about these policies, please call our office at 1-605-574-9079 so we can answer your questions.
